Hack 4 Good Springfield Competition Details
Friday Nov. 2nd 2018 – Sunday Nov. 4th 2018
The eFactory, Springfield Missouri
Our annual competition gives designers and developers an opportunity to build a simple solution for a specific well-defined community project over the course of a weekend. This year we are partnering with Borrow My Angel to focus on suicide-prevention.
Free registration for first 80 participants, thanks to our Sponsors. Food and drinks provided. Cash prizes for top 3 teams.
Behind the Scenes at Hack 4 Good 2017
Improve your existing skillsets and learn new technologies while working in a fast-paced team environment.
Teams will use existing skills and learn new technologies and skills when working together to complete this year’s community project in less than 48 hours.
Connect with like-minded Designers and Developers
Hack 4 Good is a group effort. If you do not already have a team, we will group you with other designers and developers who are working toward a common goal — improving our community.
Top teams receive awards, cash prizes, and glory!
Each team has an opportunity to demo their code/design to a panel of judges who score the project based on functionality, design appeal, and architecture.
The top 3 teams receive awards and cash prizes. The winning team is encouraged to help H4G launch a useable project with ongoing support from our H4G volunteers, including local designers and developers through our ongoing Hack Night events.
Make a Lasting Impact
Hack 4 Good chooses a project that can be completed in a weekend and will make a lasting impact on our community.
H4G would not be possible without your participation. We are able to adopt ideas and code from multiple teams as we continue to work on projects at Hack Night events after the competition ends.
We hope you can join us at Hack 4 Good 2018 and our ongoing Hack Night events!
