Springfield's First Annual High School Coding Competition

The event takes place alongside our professional competition, giving students a great opportunity to interact with web designers, developers, and enthusiasts. We’ve also engaged some amazing corporate sponsors who are interested in you…our next generation of talent…and sharing with you what you need to know when it comes to a career in web design, development, and beyond.

Who Should Attend

The contest is open to all high school students, and all area high schools are invited to participate in this event.  Students of all experience levels–from beginner to more advanced–are encouraged to participate in this competition.

How To Register


Here’s the event schedule for the high school competition:

  • 9:00-9:30 Registration
  • 9:30-10:00 Welcome/Rules/Practice – Each time submit a “Hello World” practice problem
  • 10:00-12:00 Competition
  • 12:00-12:30 Lunch /Visit with sponsors
  • 12:30-1:00 Present Awards (trophies for top 3 teams?) and Review Stats
